About Us

Tribal Collective is maintained by Angel Bottaro and Joel Gauvin (with a little help from our Chihuahua , Sid Vicious). We are a couple who are lucky enough to share a common passion for Tribal Arts. We work from our home office in Melbourne ( Brunswick ), where most of our collection is available for viewing by appointment.

We specialise in the art and artifacts of the Australian Aborigines and of the various cultures of the Pacific region, but our inventory always includes interesting objects from further afield.

We are constantly hunting for new and exciting treasures to add to our inventory.

Payment:

Australian clients may pay using direct debit, money order or personal cheque. If you intend to purchase an item please contact us with the item number and we will supply you with an official tax invoice.

Overseas clients are encouraged to pay through Paypal www.paypal.com , as it is the fastest and most secure method of making international payments. If you intend to purchase an item please contact us with the item number and we will supply you with a Paypal invoice.

Bank transfers and Western Union Money transfers are also accepted.

Shipping:

We take pride in our packaging, taking the utmost care in getting your valued art piece to you in perfect condition.

We prefer to use Australia Post to send our items, size and weight restrictions permitting. For larger or heavier items we use a reputable international courier such as UPS, DHL or Fedex – whichever one you prefer.

Buying:
If you are considering selling any of your items, you are welcome to contact us. We are always interested in acquiring individual pieces or entire collections.

Selling on consignment:

If you would like us to sell your pieces or collection for you, we would be happy to do so. We work on a fixed commission basis and have a large clientele base who may be interested in your pieces.

Display Stands:

We have an expert stand maker available to make custom display stands for any of the objects that you see on these pages. We can arrange to have a stand made for you and the standard time for this is 2 weeks.

Returns Policy:

If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it within 14 days of receipt in the same condition as it was sent to you; and you will be reimbursed the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. We do not believe in having unsatisfied clients!
